Hi Kay! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Or as we say here in Holland, "GEFELICITEERD!". I'm happily following your blog (as of today) and enjoy encountering you on the Craftorij page. Something you don't know about me: I actually grew up in the U.S. and Canada but am officially Dutch and have been living in The Netherlands for almost 20 years now (yikes!). Always happy to be back stateside, though! (hopefully next summer)
ReplyDeleteSomething you might not know about Kay, she has Dutch ancestry (Kooi).

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday month Kay, 70 is the new 30 anyway lol. I once gave you 5 things you didn't know about me, so here's number 6. For my 50th I went on the Orient Express from Venice to Paris ( we've been eating beans on toast ever since lol) Have a great month! xx

You already know that I only have two Stampotique stamps...erm...and you might therefore as well know (or at least presume) that I really envy you for all the wonderful stamps you have (they aren't easy to get over here in tiny Austria...*sigh ;). I love what you create with them and I hope to see a lot more of it!
Hugs and wishes,
Claudia x

Happy Birthday month, Kay! What a beautiful way to celebrate such a wonderful time in your life. Since I am new to your blog, I guess anything about me would be considered new info so, I love Stampotique stamps, especially the ones by Mister Torrente. I am also a fan of the weird and unique, which includes taxidermy, apothecary bottles, and antique doll heads. Thank you for the chance to win such a great prize. Hugs, Glo
ReplyDeleteCongrats! 70 is quite an accomplishment and something to be proud of. I learned not too long ago that getting older is a privilege that not everyone gets to enjoy. I'm looking forward to your 2014 creations.

ReplyDeleteSomething about me you might not know..is I have 4 tatoo's..nobody really knows that..so I'm telling you my secret..LOL
Let's see, if there is something you don't know about me, then I would be in big trouble. Just 7 items to be given away? How wimpy. I think it should be 70, 1 item for each year. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice give away, but how often do you turn 70?
ReplyDeleteI am a relatively new stamper but an avid journaler so this is right up my alley. Happy BIrthday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Thank you for sharing your "party" with us through this sweet giveaway. One of my goals for 2014 is to be more creative, so I've subscribed to your blog to help me do just that! I hope 70 is a milestone year for you.

ReplyDeleteI just found you, I know, you did not know you were lost. Love your work, hope you have a Happy Birthday month. I think I will do the same when I turn 65 in May.
ReplyDeleteWell, seven decades is certainly worth celebrating, and what a lovely way to celebrate it! I thought I already was a follower, but it seems not - have rectified that now!
ReplyDeleteHmm... I'm inclined to share a guilty pleasure, as I don't think it's something you'd probably work out from reading Words and Pictures: I have a hidden love of the X-Factor (and sometimes even Britain's Got Talent - but only the uplifting stories from that one, caught up with later on youtube. I can't bear the XXXs going up on the other acts!). Is that revealing enough? Shhh.. don't tell everyone! Off to pop this on my sidebar...
And Happy Birthday!
Alison xx
Happy Birthday month Kay!

Happy Capricorn January! What you don't know about me is that I have a dream of starting a not-for-profit organization that donates high quality art supplies to organizations which support teens and adults on the autism spectrum. Writing business plans ain't fun!

ReplyDeleteOh oops...I forgot the "Something you don't know about me"... Perhaps you don't know that I've always felt that I was an artist...from about the third grade. I earned a BA in Fine Arts, but got lured into the restaurant business after falling madly in love my graduating year...I've been trying to get back on track ever since.
