DREAM GIRL

A young friend of mine needs a bit of encouragement from time to time.  To keep her motivated and to help in replacing some lost self-confidence, I make and send a card or other piece of art to her now and again.  

 The background for my card was created in a class I took with Seth Apter at the Art-Is-You Conference in Stamford, CT, last Fall.  It is a painted background upon which I used a piece of a wallpaper sample as a stamp.  For my focal image, I used a Unity Stamp called Dream Girl.  The text stamp is from the same set.

 I will be entering my card in the Craft Stamper Magazine's Take It, Make It Challenge.

    Love, love, love the super-gorgeous background on this wonderful card! Your colours are gorgeous and I really like the contrast between the bold, textured background and the simple "sketchy" focal image of the girl (and where you've chosen to position her on the card!). I'm sure your friend will love it!
