Just a very quick post today to share a photo postcard that I am submitting to the Sunday Postcard Art challenge this week. Deann wants to see What's on Your Mantle? Since we are traveling this winter in our travel trailer, we have no "mantle," so I will borrow one from my sister's home on Cape Cod from a Christmas Past. I am truly making this photo into a postcard (already 4" x 6") and will be sending it to my sister as our Christmas card this year.
Thanks for stopping by today and for taking a moment to leave a comment. Both are appreciated!
Cheers from the road...
What a beautiful Christmas scene from your sister's home, Kay. The room looks fantastic. This will be a lovely Christmas postcard for her to receive. (I don't have a mantel in my house either.)
ReplyDeleteWhat cosy, beautiful Christmas decorations. Perfect as a Christmas card, Kay.
ReplyDeleteHave a great journey ❤
Oh clever you!! Love that photo and how you're using it - very creative! A memorable keepsake card too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this beautiful, cozy scene, Kay. I'm sure it carries pleasant memories with it. Blessed holidays!
ReplyDeleteA perfect Scene of Home at Christmas I love your borrowed mantle.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo, I want to be there. Happy travels to you.
ReplyDeleteCosy fire, decorated tree - I can almost see the first snowflakes swirling past the window .....; then I woke up from my dream to the heatwave that is Sydney!!! My childhood home had a mantle but I think they may be few and far between these days. Love your postcard and seeing and hearing about your travels via FB.
ReplyDeleteThat is actually such a clever idea. What a lovely tree too Kay. I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas. I have so enjoyed your travels.
ReplyDeleteSuch a good idea Kay! A gorgeous photo x
