I love working in my "Judy Journal" creating pages which one day will be read by my now almost 3-year-old granddaughter Angie. The pages I am actually creating for myself, simply because I love creating art. But, hopefully, the "wisdom" I am imparting in this journal will one day be of help, comfort and encouragement to Angie as she faces life's challenges.
So, here's my nugget of knowledge for today:
YOU ARE FREE TO CHOOSE, BUT YOU ARE NOT FREE FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR CHOICE.
I think that is a pretty powerful message and, if it makes even one person stop and think before making a decision, it has been worth sharing!
So glad that you stopped by today. I appreciate both your visit and your comments!
Cheers!
Very cool and thoughtful page! xx
ReplyDeleteI love that page and the wisdom it carries. Oh, and the "judy journal".. love that too. Weeeeeeeee
ReplyDeleteLove the orange combined with the black and the message is very powerful indeed. Great page!
ReplyDeleteFound this on Corrine Gilman's FB page... love it, Kay!
ReplyDeleteThis page is beautiful! I love your quote and how true it is. My daughter is experiencing the truth of this quote right now. Your granddaughter is going to cherish this journal.
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea to make a "Judy Journal"! I enjoy art journaling, but I prefer to share my art, so I haven't really kept up with it. This idea to create a "words of wisdom" art journal for child or a grandchild is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove this message Kay, thank you for sharing it with us today ! You will be happy I think to know that I've started to store in a file my favorite English sentences and expressions, and your texts and sentiments have been the starting point !! Hugs xx
ReplyDeleteI am honored, Coco, to have some of my sentiments and quotes in your file! What a super idea!!
DeleteA very powerful page Kay. Love the colours
ReplyDeleteOh Kay I love this and I love the idea of creating a book of inspiration and wisdom for Angie. I think I would like to do something like this. I hope you don't mine if I copy your idea... I have just found out (although they are not saying anything until after the next scan on the 19th Aug) that I am going to be a granny to twins. I love the idea of creating a little book of wisdom quotes. You are so full of wisdom, creativity and love. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Val--and, of course, would be thrilled if you made journals for your wee ones (and congrats!). ;-)
DeleteBrilliant! I think this quote is a real keeper, love the beautiful deep orange colour you chose. Thank you for sharing Kay, :D x
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gift for your grand-daughter. I enjoyed your thoughts about your art and legacy.
