TAG ALONG BLOG CHALLENGE #79: SPRING

My local art store recently had a grand re-opening after altering its focus and reorganizing the store.  I couldn't miss the opportunity to wish them well and to do a bit of shopping! One of my purchases was a Unity stamp set called "You are Important."  I just looked at the flower on the outside of the package and did not flip over the package to see the actual size of the flower.  It's huge. I was only able to use about 3/4 of the stamp on my #8 tag. But, in keeping with the Tag Along Blog Challenge this week, which is Spring, it is spot on. It literally screams SPRING!

I used washi tape from my stash and several colors of Tim Holtz' Distress Spray Stain for the background, then stamped and embossed my flower.

    Definitely the colours of spring in this tag Kay, it has the promise of sunshine and warmth.
    I was quite amused by your comment on my 'Crazy Bird' ATC "50 shades of pink and SHE ......." . Somehow I always seem to refer to animals/birds and teddy bears as "he" even when they are pink! I've no idea why, but as child my first teddy bear was pink and yes I still have 'him'. Even though in my mind I know it is a girl, I still refer to it as 'him"!!! Perhaps I'm loopier then I thought I was ......eeeek!!!

    Oh this is wonderful Kay I love how you got the green and the manilla colour on the tag... that stamp is lovely. This is a beautiful tag. I guess I am going to check this one out again and play along :D Love this .

    Beautiful tag Kay,I love the flower in all its bigness! Yep,I've had that a few times with Unity stamps....some as big as dinner plates! You certainly get a lot of rubber for your money ;)

    That's a wonderful springtime tag, Kay - I love that huge flower, even if it's only put in half an appearance!! Love the postage theme down the side too... a really fabulous tag. One of my current resolutions is to make sure I use my Unity stamps soon!!

    Oh, another gorgeous tag!! :D Very springtime thanks to its beautiful colours and this blue light that breaks through the darker inks at the left side.. Simply beautiful and well done!
