LESS IS MORE RECIPE CHALLENGE: WIRE

It's been a challenging week for me physically, but am finally on the mend today!  Just under the "wire," I am entering this card in the (Simply) Less is More recipe challenge which asks for the use of wire.  I tried for hours to wrap wire around the stamped image of a paint brush and finally had to admit defeat.  Such a cool idea, too.  In the end, I chose to use wire cutters and remove a hook from a formed piece of wire and use it as the center for this great Unity Stamp Company oversize blossom.  The sentiment is from the same set.

Thanks for your visit today and for taking a moment to leave a comment.  Both are appreciated.

Cheers!

  3. Glad you're on the mend. Even though your wire-wrapped paint brush was an awesome idea, this is perfect. All the elements go so well with the sentiment and it looks really great!

  13. Hi my sweet Kay, and happy Sunday to you! I hope you feel better!?...
This is a great idea to put this rounded piece of wire at the heart of this beautiful large flower, it fits perfectly (despite it was also a great idea to wrap a brush stamped image.. Maybe you could do it with a true old brush instead?.. :)
I really like the sentiment too. I think you did this card brilliantly my friend! :D Mwah!
