One of my favorite stamps is from Stampotique Originals and is called Frida Grande. Frida is beautiful in black and white alone, but easy to add red to her hair bow, her jewelry, her lips or, in this case, the neckline of her dress and lips! The background is a script stamp, also from Stampotique Originals, and is called Vintage Script.

Welcome to Take a Word and a big thankyou for sharing your artwork with us. Frida is always a beautiful subject and your touch of red against black and white is perfect. Exquisite.
ReplyDeleteI always like black & white with a pop of colour. The red looks marvellous on Frida - well done, Kay!
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing Frida to our challenge, Kay. The pop of red enhances her portrait well!
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect for this challenge.
ReplyDeleteNice work!
Brilliant art Kay! xx
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying a scroll around and had to pause here for a quick "wow" - I love that dramatic pop of red against the b&w - brilliant!
